Darts Youth Academy
This year’s major daring youth open
scheduled for Saturday 30th August is
expected to be even more keenly contested than the
two previous occasions.
Inaugural winner Jamie Kelling, two time
champion Charlotte Burgess and current men’s title
holder Sean White have signed up for this year’s Andover
Youth Darts Open and will be joined by a twenty plus
contingent from the London Darts School.
The competition is filling up nicely with
entries from neighbouring counties so players wishing to
enter should do so soon by contacting Glen Dawkins on
01264 395 246 or
glen.dawkins@ntlworld.com so as not to be
disappointed.

Moses Wheeler Darts-athlon sponsored by
Andy Nosko.
This year’s day of darting disciplines is
sponsored by stalwart supporter Andy Nosko of Ability
Associates and takes place this Saturday at the
Entertainer. The format combines singles with
traditional pub games such as Shanghai, round the board
on doubles, bullseyes and 25’s and Halve-It.
This is the 7th ranking event
towards next year’s classic and is in memory of one of
Andover’s original darting heroes and former News of the
World winner. Long ago Moses entered into darting
folklore with his many achievements but is also fondly
remembered as a gentleman of darts in an era that saw
dozens of pubs in and around the town chasing the
honours.
